Field to Family Dogs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehoming of retired hunting dogs throughout the United States. Inspired by Birdie, our very first Field to Family Dog, we are committed to finding exceptional and loving homes for more dogs just like her! 

We work to provide homes for retired hunting dogs who have worked hard in the field, some more successfully than others, who are ready to spend the next chapter of their life in a loving home.

Our process involves:

· Transporting dogs from sporting lodges into approved foster homes

· Providing veterinary care and addressing any medical issues

· Assessing personalities and needs of each dog, as well as potential adopters to ensure a good fit

· Facilitating transportation to their forever homes

Field to Family Dogs have spent their lives diligently serving their owners but are often overlooked once their hunting careers come to an end. Field to Family Dogs are loyal, adaptable, and eager to please, making them ideal companions for families seeking a new addition to their family. 

We work hard to assess the needs and preferences of potential adopters, as well as those of the dogs, to ensure a smooth transition for both the dogs and their new families.
